Arsene Wenger has easily been the most successful manager in Arsenal history, winning 3 league titles, winning 5 FA Cups, and finishing in the top 4 of the league every season since taking over in October 1996. But, the "Gunners" haven't won a league title since 2004 and currently in 5th place and fighting to secure a Top-4 place, allowing them entrance to the Champions League next year. Some of the fans have called for Wenger to be "sacked" (British word for fired). The most famous is Daily Mail journalist and TV personality Piers Morgan. He says that Arsenal should bring in Jurgen Klopp, manager of German club Borussia Dortmund. Piers Morgan on BBC Radio 5 Live's "606 Football Phone-in": http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p02jj7j4
Klopp's team is in 14th place out of 18 teams in the German Bundesliga after being last much of the season. Dortmund finished as runner-up out of all European teams 2 years ago, but like Wenger, Jurgen Klopp has fallen upon recent struggles, except Klopp is managing a last place team. Arsene Wenger has over 20 years of experience and a championship pedigree, plus his name sounds just like Arsenal! That's why I think they should ride out the storm and let him retire when he feels like it.
